Polyplex AG is successfully recertified according to ISO 9001:2015.
Due to increased customer requests Polyplex together wiht its suppliers have worked successfully on a solution to optimize the painting process.
Polyplex could increase transfer efficiency by change to the Aircoat process.
The Daimler AG presents the award each year to its top 13 business partners in recognition of outstanding collaboration. Polyplex was chosen from the group of all suppliers worldwide. The criteria applied to the selection process were quality, cost awareness, faultless logistic, technical expertise and innovation.
In the section ‚Daimler Trucks and Buses, Exterior' Polyplex AG was honored as best supplier.
Rolf Suthaus, Managing Director of Polyplex AG, receives the award from Stefan Buchner, Head of Procurement Trucks and Buses, and Andreas Renschler, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Daimler Trucks.
The award was
accepted by Managing Director Rolf Suthaus
on behalf of his employees. "Last year posed
considerable challenges for us all, which is why
this award means a great deal to us. It is a token
of genuine appreciation of our daily work and
will motivate us to become even better in the
future."
For more than a decade, Polyplex AG has been providing exterior parts for different Mercedes-Benz buses.This includes, among other things, panels, bumpers and corner bumpers. The sheet molding compound (SMC) composite material system enables a lightweight construction solution which can withstand extreme mechanical, chemical and thermal stresses. On the basis of this material technology, it was also possible to replace metal components by SMC components. In addition, Polyplex AG has decisively optimized the manufacture of tools and thus the costs compared with standard tool-intensive processes.
The Busworld 2011 finished with a new all time visitors record.
On 26 of oktober 2011 the busworld exibition closed its doors with an all time visitors record of 31'698 professional visitors form 118 countries.
For the first time Polyplex was present as exhibitor and presented new and proven solutions.
We plan to attend also the next busworld 2013. There we like to present more of our offered range on a larger exhibitor stand. You can certainly look forward...

In the section ‚Daimler Trucks and Buses, Exterior' Polyplex AG was honored as best supplier.
Daimler AG recognized its best suppliers for their contributions on the occasion of its annual supplier conference in Stuttgart, the “Daimler Key Supplier Meeting”, with the “Daimler Supplier Award 2009”. As in previous years, 13 companies received awards in various categories.
